And yet you display staggering ignorance about your own supposed field. Sorry but I don't believe that you are.
And despite the experimental designation the American weapons have actually been demonstrated a feat that the Chinese cannot claim. Again if you were actually a "defense industry engineer" as you claim I doubt that you would be so uncritically accepting of Chinese propaganda.

China does not have a missile that can reach Mach 10. They are developing a boost glide vehicle which is launched on top of an ICBM and then glides to its target once it is released - the speed of the Intercontinental ballistic rocket and falling back (gliding) to earth causes the high Mach speed.
We actually do have a boost glide vehicle in a continuing development by Darpa it's the HTV-2 and was tested before China began launching theirs. The glide vehicle are essentially just MARV missiles and the US had the Pershing II in service during the 80's.
The Mach 5 missile is actually more advanced and more of a game changer... Arming fighters and bombers with Mach 5+ missiles is a much bigger threat.
Depending on Russian rockets for the ISS and LEO launches really means nothing they're cheap and reliable so why spend the money. The US just launched the heaviest most powerful rocket in the world the Delta IV just last month.

The United States currently operates 568 satellites in orbit compared to China's 177. The United States has conducted 171 manned space missions. China has conducted 5. China is nowhere close to parity with the US in space.
It is very bizarre that on the day this was written the US was actively exploring Jupiter yet that gets nary a mention. I guess facts don't matter in the "China Rising" narrative.
