Who needs diplomatic/any relations with an evil, barbaric, backward, and back stabbing regime such as the ruling family of the ksa. Diplomatic relations are maintained with countries where some sort of relationship can be maintained and built upon based on certain principals. The ksa have a long history of backstabbing Iran; examples of this can be seen from their support for Saddam in the 8 year war against Iran, and more recently offering israhell the use of their air space to bomb Iran's nuclear sites.
The ksa's policy in Syria looks like it has failed. In the meanwhile, their masters in Washington and israhell are trying to place new sanctions on Iran in a bid to break away from the deal reached to lift all sanctions but do not look like getting an excuse which will be supported by the other countries in the permanent 5, so along with help of the ksa, they resort to this latest plan of trying to get Iran to respond to the killing of Sheikh Nimr in a manner whereby they look like they are the aggressor and thus need to be isolated, and punished with new sanctions. Iran is better off without having any diplomatic ties with hypocrites like the ruling family in the ksa.
Renaming the street in which the ksa had its embassy after Sheikh Nimr is a fiiting tribute to his memory!
