I'm not a fan of Bongbong Marcos but i agree with him on this. The Philippines is
strategically situated between 2 superpowers. And i think it is our only
advantage for now (i hope there will come a time that we can fully modernize
our AFP so that we can have 2 advantages).
What i'm saying is we should play our cards with the best of our
country on our mind always. America have so may wars (ISIS, al Qaeda, think of
any current world conflict at the present and i bet America is involve on a
different degree). And conflict cost money. Lots of money...
Many experts will argue that America is in the decline already caused
by the havoc of recent 2008 world financial crisis and the 2 wars they entered
(Iraq and Afghanistan). What i cannot understand is why the Filipino leaders
continue to be loyal with America despite all these glaring facts of US'
imminent downfall.

Talking to China alone is not a solution. But dictator junior has a point. The way I see it, the best move was to continue filing the case in the Interntional Court while entertaining the offered bilateral talks but only via the backdoor.
The message there is: Sure, lets talk, we can be friends, but I think you are lying.

Bongbong where on earth have you been? How can you negotiate with these Chinks??? China does not recognize our sovereignty in those territories. Use your coconut head. China wants our properties by hook or by crook even though they know these territories do not belong to them because:
1) China is just plain greedy;
2) China is a bully;
3) China wants to be a superpower;
4) China's economy is going down. They need to grab lands that don't belong to them to sustain their failing economy.

Bong2 your perception is wrong. China doesn't listen to the Philippines reasoning. Its like China is stepping your foot while you talked. Its better to bring it up to the International Law. If Pinas lose then then Philippines will give it up. I hope so but if they win, i hope china will abide by the law.
