卡马特：新开发银行的第一笔贷款会是中国货币
BEIJING: The first loan to be issued by the US $ 100 billion New Development Bank (NDB) of the five-nation BRICS bloc in April next year would in Chinese currency Renminbi (RMB), its president KV Kamath has said.
金砖银行行长卡马特表示，5个金砖国家花1000亿美元成立的新开发银行于明年4月份发放的第一笔贷款将是人民币。
The NDB will “get our first loan approved in April of 2016″, and the first loan will be issued in the Chinese Renminbi, said the eminent Indian banker, who will be the NDB’s president for the first five years, at a media interaction on Thursday.
这位杰出的印度银行家在一次媒体互动中说，金砖国家新开发银行将会在2016年4月批准第一笔贷款，第一笔贷款将会是以人民币发放。卡马特是金砖国家新开发银行首任任期5年的行长。
The NDB opened in Shanghai on July 21 to finance infrastructure projects, mainly in BRICS countries – the emerging economies of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
7月21日，金砖国家新开发银行在上海开张，银行将为基础设施项目融资，主要是为金砖国家——巴西、俄罗斯、印度、中国和南非等新兴经济体的项目融资。
The NDB will have an initial authorised capital of US $ 100 billion and initial subscribed capital of US $ 50 billion equally shared among the five founders.
金砖国家新开发银行初始资本为1000亿美元，初始认缴资本为500亿美元，由5个金砖国家平均分摊。
In his media interaction at Shanghai, Kamath, the former Independent Director of Infosys and former Chairman of ICICI Bank, said that setting up of the NDB signals “the coming of age of the developing countries.”
在上海的媒体互动中，卡马特表示金砖国家新开发银行的成立，标志着“发展中国家时代的到来”。

Loan in Chinese currency does not necessarily imply that goods and services have to sourced from China. It only means that repayment has to be in CNY which follows fixed exchange rate .This would be a great advantage while taking forex cover against currency volatility!

If this bank and BRICs want to break the monopoly of IMF, World Bank and the US, then the first rule should NO lending or repayment in US Dollar. Bank can lend in Yuan, Rupee, Roubles but NOT in US Dollar. This should be put in the MoA of the Bank.

Yuan Renminbi is artificially supported currency of China. The Chinese want to create demand for it by using the NDB but its just going to be another failure. Kammath will be the scapegoat if he doesnt quit before too long.
人民币是人为支持起来的货币，中国人希望通过新开发银行来制造对人民币的需求，不过又会是另一个败笔。
