China racing to complete ‘super super computer’ that will be the first in the world to process a billion, billion calculations per second

China plans to develop a prototype exascale computer by the end of the year, state media said Tuesday, as it seeks to win a global race to be the first to build a machine capable of a billion, billion calculations per second.
If successful, the achievement would cement its place as a leading power in the world of supercomputing.
The Asian giant built the world’s fastest supercomputer, the Sunway TaihuLight machine, in June last year, which was twice as fast as the previous number one.
It used only locally made microchips, making it the first time a country has taken the top spot without using US technology.
据报道，中国拟今年底研发百亿亿级超级计算机，力争赢得超级计算机的全球竞赛。
如果成功，这一成就将加强中国在超算领域的领先地位。
去年6月，这个亚洲巨人已经研发出了神威超级计算机，速度是之前最快超算的两倍。

Knowing Chinese design and build quality it will probably work then fry its self . They will then come to England like they usually do when they need something engineering properly. Most of my customers are Chinese and believe me they try but lack know how . Once it’s designed they are very good at churning out product .

No It couldn’t, windows is designed to process the large amounts of ram, storage etc… It probably runs a unique piece of software created specifically for the computer or a highly adapted version of the Linux kernel.
