SAOPAULO (AP) — Most Brazilian footballers dream of making it to a top Europeanclub. These days, though, some of the country’s most promising players areheading to a very different sporting nation.

Thanksto hefty investments to boost soccer in the Asian country, Chinese teams havebecome much more attractive to Brazilian and South American players, makinghigh salary offers that overshadow the players’ desire to move to better clubsin Europe.

“Chinais trying to become a global player in the sport, it wants to become relevantinternationally,” said Fernando Ferreira, head of theBrazilian sports consultancy firm Pluri. “And signing some of the best playersin Brazilis part of this process, it’s part of the strategy. They are coming to Brazilto gather ‘raw material,’ to find ‘skilled labor.’”

Chinahas been steadily ramping up investments on foreign players and is the thirdcountry with the highest spending on international transfers in 2015, accordingto numbers released through FIFA’s transfer matching system, behind Germany ($118 million) and England ($174 million).

Chineseclubs have spent more than $85 million on the international market throughMarch 17, FIFA said, more than five times what it spent in 2013. They havealready spent nearly $7 million more this year than in all of 2014.

Scantytalents do not equate pool talent competition. When a class player playing inless competitive league it will affect his performance level at highest levelof competition .The fact that some players ignored their performances level toplay in China is detrimental in overall performance .Maybe for older player isok but,for young promising player coming up into prominence ,it disadvantageoutweigh the advantage .
