Why are we relating things? By your logic we should not have sent the Mangalyan as it was also expensive. By your logic we should not have developed nuclear capabilities. By your logic we should not have airlines in the country as it is not benefitting the poor people. You cannot do any good for the poor people if you are not facilitating the business and business people who in turn generate employment for the so called poor people. By the way there are various reasons for selecting track between Ahmedabad and Mumbai for Bullet Train. One of the reason is the paying capacity of the traveler. Second is the demand. Third is the length of the corridor. Fourth that it connects Gujarat with Mumbai and it is a well known fact that most of the businesses are either in Mumbai or in Gujarat. If this succeeds it will open up other routes for the Bullet Train including but not limited to connecting Mumbai with Delhi.

第四是这条高铁连接的是孟买和古吉拉特邦。众所周知,大多数商人不是来自孟买,就是来自古吉拉特邦

这条高铁成功了,就会向推广到其他路线。
