Tehran’s application was backed by otherfounding members on Friday, China’s Ministry of Finance said in a statement onits website. The United Arab Emirates’ bid was also approved.

China approved Iran for 2 simple reasons:1) They don’t care who wants to join, as long as they join.
2) It’s a chance for China to poke our government in the eye by allowing Iranto join as founding members, because we criticized and belittled China’sefforts from the get go.
